# Set MFA

Your [JFrog Connect](https://jfrog.com/connect/) account will be more secure if you use multi-factor authentication (MFA) for logging in. The login information for your [account](https://docs.connect.jfrog.io/administration-new-ui/general-settings/account-settings) is managed by the JFrog Platform, so you will use the platform to set this up.

### Ensure Google Authenticator is Installed

Before you begin this procedure, install the Google Authenticator on your mobile device. You can find it in the Google Play Store.

## Set up Multi-Factor Authentication

To set up MFA, do the following:

1. In Connect, at the bottom of the left navigation pane, click **JFrog Platform**. JFrog Platform will open in a new tab in your browser.
2. Complete the JFrog Platform procedure [Multi-factor Authentication](https://jfrog.com/help/r/jfrog-platform-administration-documentation/multi-factor-authentication).
