# Edit JFrog Registry

If you need to change the access token in a [JFrog registry](/administration-new-ui/general-settings/registry.md), you can edit the registry.

## Prerequisites

* Administrator role
* At least one JFrog registry in addition to the default JFrog registry

## Edit the Registry

To edit a registry, do the following:

1. Go to **General** **Settings** and the **Registry Management** tab, and choose **JFrog** for the Registry Type.
2. In the row of the relevant registry, click the **More** icon (three dots) on the right side, and choose **Edit**. The default registry cannot be edited or deleted.

3. Add the new **JFrog Admin Token** and save.

If you need to change the name or the JFrog Server URL, you will need to [delete the JFrog registry](/administration-new-ui/general-settings/registry/add-jfrog-registry/delete-jfrog-registry.md) and create a new one. If you have not saved the access token in another location, you will lose it when you delete the registry.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.connect.jfrog.io/administration-new-ui/general-settings/registry/add-jfrog-registry/edit-jfrog-registry.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
