You can create a Connect child user in the Settings of the JFrog Connect UI or in the Settings of the Artifactory UI. This page describes how to create a user in the Connect UI.
To create a Connect child-user, do the following:
Go to Settings in the left navigation tree and choose the User Management tab.
Click Create User on the upper right and complete the information as described below.
Email: The email address of the user you want to invite. The user will need this address for log in.
Password: The initial password that the user will use to log in.
General Permissions: These permissions apply to all projects the user belongs to. Choose the relevant permissions for the user.
Project Permissions: These are specific to each project. You can assign a user to multiple projects with different permissions in each project. Choose the project from the dropdown list, and then mark the relevant permissions.
After entering the information, click Create User. The child user appears in the user list with status Pending and receives an email invitation to join Connect.
Inform the user that an account has been created, and give the user the password. After the user logs in to the account, the status of the user will change to Active.
For a reference list of the Connect permissions and permission types available, refer to the List of Connect Permissions.
